Re-writing life!~ Finding a way

Re-writing Life!

Hey! If you know me, you might be reading this blog post and think I am crazy, but I know I am not (or at least I hope you would think I am not LOL). I am going to tell you why I named my blog post "Re-writing life!" Well for those of you that know me, you know I've been dealing with depression for quite a while now, practically on and off and all my life. Don't worry, I am not those that would harm myself or harm others. My way to cope with depression in the past was eat and sleep however I think there is a new way I should deal with life. I do not have multiple personality disorder, but I was just thinking........ we have technology where we can write things and share things with people and we have photoshop to make us look amazing! The world so small can also be the world that is so big. Like the picture, the blog is focused on one of many, but in this blog the focus will be on me and what I write could be from my imagination with a mix of what goes on in real life to create stories where it shares experiences!

Well some of you would say, well then you would be lying..........well NO, it's not lying it's that I am creating stories for you to read, but at the same time sometime it's the full truth so you know that "you" who has depression like me are not alone! :)

How I am going to start with my re-writing of life? Well first of all there are a lot of inspiration and things i would like to do and achieve. Life that is aside from work that will help me to stay alive. We work to live and live to work, but we also should live the life to the fullest! I will spend my free time creating my e-mag that will be re-launched and the genre would be different and will make things for I love handmade stuff! I look forward to a new and positive life!

Nothing comes unrewarded & a giveway notice!

Today I went to shop for 3 families.....2 for work and 1 individual that was adopted for ilovehandmadestuff.com to thanks those who support me and have reached out through, facebook, face to face at work and zibbet.com/etsy and swag for my other brand eoejewelry. :)

I went to Christiana Mall today in DE to save on taxes and get more bang for the butt. IT was super hard to get to and I was running out of gas. Fortunately enough for me, i did pretty good at shopping and there was this nice family that led me to the closest gas station so I won't be stuck on the highway! I am stupid and forgot to ask for their name, but I told them they can go on ilovehandmadestuff.com and pick out an item that I can send to them :) Hopefully they remember and claim it to show my appreciation. :)

On a side note, who doesn't love GIVEAWAYS??? I am sponsoring a contest and the 3rd place winner will win this bracelet!  Read the entry details and etc here!! :)

Meet me under the mistletoe!

Who can't wait for the Holiday? Christmas? I know...I know... some people will think it's rude since I actually said Christmas, but let me tell you. I am not a Christian, but over the years as we were growing up we adapted to this culture in America by celebrating Christmas....LOL why? because my family which is buddist believe that it's nice to celebrate with the other people around the world as a holiday to be with families and give gifts and get gifts! :) WHo doesn't like gifts? I LOVE GIFTS! even when it's not a hoilday.

This year, i am going to make gifts for people, it will be all handmade so i can support handmade! Weeee!

I have a shop, my shop is http://www.zibbet.com/ilovehandmadestuff

For Christmas I made this little bib for my friend's cute baby, let me know if you want one! :)

In time for a new me! :) - Significant change in my life!

I know what you are guessing, but no it's not! Look at the pictures below and then read the story that follows! :) PS there was no make up! I guess the lighting can make a person look better or worst BUT I WILL TELL YOU I AM STILL BEAUTIFUL! YUP!

I never like receiving wrist watches as a gift because to me a wrist watch always had a significant meaning.  The first watch I got and still have in my drawers was a barbie watch from my parents as a child. The barbie watch was the was purchased during my elementry days because my parents believed it was time I learn how to tell time and be responsible. (Asian parents usually start young with their oldest!) The second watch that I got, which I am really sad that I lost was a fossil watch from my mom. She purchased this watch for me right before college signifying that I am transitioning into a teenager and young adult, but personally I really thought of it as a invisible chain where she was keeping tabs on me and constantly reminding me that I better behave in college and I did! LOL I know I know...weird!

When did I lose this watch of mine??........Funny thing! It was just right after I was hired full time.  I then started using my cell phone for time and normally when someone asks me for time, they would ask if I have a watch when they see me checking my cell instead or when I ask someone for time and they tell me the time on their watch. The convo usually goes like this....

Person: You don't have a watch?
Me: Yea, I do, but I lost it
Person: Why don't you get another one?
Me: No..a wrist watch has a significant meaning for me, so I don't want a new one until it's time...
Person: Really? Why is that?
Me: well my parents got me my first barbie watch to teach me how to be responsible. Mom bought me a new watch when I went to college telling me I was grown up, but I lost it. I feel like a watch has a significant meaning and when I get a new one, it's going to be a new chapter of my life and I don't know if I am ready for that yet........

Well.... Here I have, a new watch! I think it came just in time--keeping the tradition, my brother brought the watch cause he liked it, but he asked if I wanted not thinking I would take it, but YUP I took it! HAHA sorry little brother.

It came just in time (J-I-T) like supply chain terms, because I am starting a new chapter in my life. I am going to be a diff person and I am making life style changes to shape up who I should be and grow up and be more mature. :) Over the last two weeks, I've been really trying to figure myself out. One thing I learned is...instead of letting the situation take control of my life (stress and depression), I need to take control of it! Though I still struggle from time to time in the day, I always management to turn out okay weather it's at the end of the day or the next morning....Right now, I am enjoying and embracing the new me and hoping that the new me can inspire more people like myself to love and be comfortable about themselves. BELIEVE me! It was such a huge step for me to post my pics online, but hey--you can never love yourself if you put yourself down.

Though all my friends know I don't put pics up normally, I would still like my friends not to put my pics up! LOL Thanks <3 you guys! You guys know who you are :) XOXO. Until the next time. i hope ever takes care!

Self - Confidence, self worth!

Blogging is hard. It's extremely hard when you are not sure what to write but know you need to write and embrace your inner thoughts that wants to come out.

Over the past weekend, I had a valuable lesson. One that I can't go back and take back things I've done or said, but I've learned that I need to be more confident in myself! One friend taught me that in order to have respect from others, you have to give it to yourself first. Before you love someone else, you have to love yourself first. If you don't love yourself, you have no self worth and you would always lose your battle! For me, my biggest battle is self confidence. BECAUSE of this lack of confidence, I feel very little a lot of times and seem some what of a push over from time to time. This is changing and it's going to change because I want the change and welcome the change. It's going to be a life style change, but no one can help you unless you want it bad enough.....and I ... I want it bad enough! Therefore I hope you guys will grow with me as a grow wiser but bigger and fuller with confidence!
Today will be the last time .. I will let myself DOWN!
